IMPACT CONSULTANT

I define impact-first as the broad section of our societies and economies whose primary objective is to make a societal or environmental impact, rather than profit.

It includes not only non-profits but also cooperatives, trade unions, churches, political parties and advocacy groups, international and transnational agencies and certain broadcasters and media organizations. After twenty years of experience in this space, I now work with impact-first organizations to:

  • Reimagine their system change strategy as well as their internal organization and decision making through non-hierarchical “teal” methodologies

  • Organize teams to better cooperate, especially when working in hybrid modes or fully remote

  • Capture impact data through measurement, evaluation and learning (MEL) strategy, with a system-change focus. 

  • Advise on their research strategy through innovative lenses

  • Carry out research, both qualitative (such as conducting focus groups) and quantitative (such as survey design or data analysis) 

  • Plan, facilitate and moderate meetings and events for change-makers
